TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Judge Michael Scott Williams to the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court.

Williams, 45, of Valrico, is currently a County Judge for Hillsborough County. He previously served as Special Counsel to the Office of Statewide Prosecution. He received his bachelor’s degree from Moravian College and his law degree from Villanova University School of Law. Williams fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Daniel L. Perry.
